Two more people are now in custody related to a robbery at Heathrow Airport in which 21 people sustained injuries by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to police.
A man, 24, was taken into custody in the Lambeth area for suspected theft and assault and a 23-year-old woman was detained on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. They both are still being held, the force said.
These detentions follow a probe into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the attack, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their luggage after getting out of a car park lift.
A three-year-old girl was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.
Officers detained a man in his thirties for suspected theft and assault near the scene. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.
Authorities were alerted at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by an irritating chemical believed to be an irritant spray.
The attack - an event that authorities stated was a standalone incident and not being treated as terrorism - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
